If you are looking for a guy who is positive, outgoing, personable, passionate, and has a really great smile, look no more! Her Campus TCNJ found the perfect catch, and he is this week’s campus cutie! Meet Brendan Owens: you can find Brendon sitting in alumni groove watching the school go on around him, in Decker as a CA, or all over TCNJ organizing or participating in a community service event. Get to know more about this campus cutie:

Name: Brendon Owens
Nickname: Not that I am called here, at home I am called BrOwens
Age: 20
Year: Junior
Hometown: Bloomfield, NJ
Major: Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Fun Fact: I used to live in County Louth, Ireland for two years.
Hobbies: I love to play soccer, run, and just hanging out with my friends. I also love exploring new kinds of music. I usually just type in something random in Pandora, and listen to whatever comes up. Right now, I am into Contemporary Jazz.
Relationship Status: I am single.

Turn Ons: It isn’t hard to make me laugh, but if you make me laugh I really like that.
Turns Offs: If you have somebody that never focuses on the positive. I think everyone should go through the bad and still see the good, if you don’t; it is kind of a let down.
Ideal First Date: I am not a picky person, but one thing I would really like to do is to go to eat on the boardwalk, and then go for a walk on the beach at night, or something like that. I know it sounds really cliché, “ I like long walks on the beach”, but I would really enjoy that.
Pet Peeves: I tend to be in a hurry, so when people walked really slow in front of me, it drives me nuts. Also, when coffee spills out on the lid and it gets all over your shirt, oh, and when people chew really loudly.
Weird Habits: My weird habit is I will always double check to make sure I have everything on me. You can always catching me doing the man pat.
Life Goals: To find a career in which I am happy and successful, in that order, to raise a happy family, to somehow pay back my parents for everything they have done for me, and to put my talents to good use.
What are those talents: I am really good at breaking the ice. I am not afraid to present myself too quickly and effectively. I am really good at making first impressions. I am also great at impressions. Stewie Griffin is my personal favorite.
Plans after TCNJ: My main plan is to get a job to pay for my master degree in human resources management, and then from there, wherever the wind takes me.
Best Experience at TCNJ so far: Going down to New Orleans with ABC. You really get a chance to make a difference and there is so much more work to be done. And your really get to see a part of the US that you would not have normally had a chance. It was really fulfilling and I can’t wait to go back.
Describe yourself in three words: Personable, Positive, and Loyal
Who would you define as your role model: It’s odd. Because the first person that came to mind was Christina Kopka. She is so super involved in everything. She is an ambassador, a Community Advisor, in Student Government, and the whole nine yards.
Anything else you would like the TCNJ community to know about you: I like to think of myself as a very approachable person. So, seriously, if you ever need anything I am just a text or face book message away.
