You were just elected Vice President of the Student Government at Syracuse University. What inspired you to run?:
The urge to give back to my community and the people who have enrich my life. Although I might not know every student at Syracuse University, I have learned a lot from those that I do. Those that I still don’t know. I know various different outlets here at school and I feel like other women should feel the same way about a place they will spend the majority of their time.
Do you think it’s worth it?:
Absolutely, I love it. It is a learning experience that will follow me throughout my life.
What else are you involved in around campus?:
My first year of college I was involve in OrangeSeeds, a leadership empowering program that focuses on team building and community service. I am part of the class council 2015, and joined the Omega Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau (holding the alumni relation position). My second year I was a part Student Leadership Institute as well as University Senate. I have also participated in two abroad programs; Chile and Madrid. Last semester, I had an internship with Congressman Dan Maffei. I am also the biggest fan of the SU Soccer team on campus!
How do you do it all!?:
Two words, time management.
Do you have any secrets on how you get to stay on board?:
Yes, LOVE what you do because hard work is a prison sentence only if it does not have a meaning.
