Rainy days make us all want to curl up in bed with a good book and a cup of tea. Unfortunately, we can’t keep taking sick days every time it pours, especially when that happens three times a week. In order to avoid slipping into sweatpants, a giant sweater, and looking like a slob, here are a few downpour-proof outfits to keep you warm, dry, and fabulous!

  1. Paris Chic

Although rain boots may seem chunky and not-at-all classy, pairing them with a nice trench-style raincoat ties the look together. To complete the ensemble, put on sleek leggings for chic comfort and a striped sweater to give off that french joie de vivre.

  1. ‘Cuse Casual

For a more casual look, the key is to layer. Try wearing a denim shirt under a chunky knit sweater and top it all off with your go-to winter vest. The extra denim layer will make your otherwise typical Syracuse outfit stand out. If you want a pop of color, add a bright-colored infinity scarf, and don’t forget to wear your combat boots to battle the rain!

  1. Trend Puddle

If you have an edgier style, this outfit is perfect for you. Pairing every possible trend while still looking cute can be hard, but fear not. A fringe sweater and ripped leggings are the perfect addition to your military style parka! And these short rain booties are great for those of us who can’t get enough of the booties trend.
