This weekend was the start of something truly special here on the SU campus. First Year Players held auditions and interviews for dozens of talented first year students hoping to be part of the cast and crew of this spring’s show – Heathers: The Musical.
The auditioners belted out show tunes, performed heart-breaking monologues, and rocked out with their killer dance moves. The stage crew interviewees discussed their passion for theater and their excitement to get involved with such an amazing organization.
The cast and crew lists will be revealed this week and we can’t wait to see what kind of talent FYP will bring to us!
Heathers is a musical adaptation of the 1988 cult-classic film starring Wynona Ryder and Christian Slater. The show is full of pop rock tunes and dark comedy. You’ll want to catch some of Syracuse’s most talented on April 14th, 15th, and 16th in Goldstein Auditorium!
