Valentine's Day is quite possibly the single most hated holiday ever. Why? Well, for one there are the bitter cat ladies who think there's no such thing as love. There are the people who claim themselves forever alone and use the holiday as an excuse to cry over ever other happy couple they see. Some get dumped right before the day of hearts and chocolates because their former significant other just wanted to be casual. By Sarah Grucza
February 12, 2012 - 8:00pm

College Fashionista: Tanya West

By Allie Caren
February 7, 2012 - 2:39pm

Tanya West is a sophomore marketing major, constantly strutting around campus with the newest and latest trends. Her favorite spots to shop are The Gap, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Macy’s and Free People. She most admires Tory Burch, because of the chicness and class that her accessories add to any outfit. Her ideal outfit is a cute, cozy sweater, layered tank tops and a cute pair of boots....

There was a time long ago when that magical land of the Internet was a place devoted solely to youth. Where careless Facebook uploads and embarrassing e-mail addresses were apparent to a limited audience. But the culture has changed. I know this from personal experience, as it was my own mother who introduced me to the latest social media craze. Pinterest.com, a virtual bulletin board image-sharing database, offers a portal of creative expression to a diverse body of users. From the interior designer who pins images of bedrooms to the inspirational quotation enthusiast who pins the sayings of Dr. Seuss (among others), Pinterest allows for image surfing across all genres.
