Oh Summer. For many summer means carefree days, ice cream cones, and trips to the beach. For others, summer is the season of heightened insecurity. Do these shorts make my butt look flat? Will this tank top show off my stretch marks? Will I look right in a bikini? For many suffering from body insecurity summer itself can be pretty nerve wrecking. It can be hard to feel confident when everyone has something to say. It’s always either too much or too little, no matter what size you wear.

But here are a few things to keep in mind. First, you are beautiful. Second, you don’t have to wear anything that you do not feel comfortable in. There are many people that don’t feel comfortable wearing shorts or bikinis. However, if you want to don’t let anyone make you think that you can’t because of your body shape. You have the power to rock anything no matter your shape or size.
