Susquehanna’s Womens Leaderhship Advisory Board Luncheon was held last Thursday 20th. The Board was created in support of the Women Leadership Fund.
The goal of the Women’s Leadership Fund at Susquehanna University is to create opportunities for young women which will help them aspire to and prepare for positions of leadership in their careers their communities and in the world. The women’s leadership program is designed to create professional experiences for students including networking, job-shadowing, mentoring and internship opportunities.
The Advisory Board’s serves as a resource for the Women’s Leadership intern and consists of discussing what leadership/career developing opportunities are available for Susquehanna University’s female students and how to better promote those opportunities on campus.
The Luncheon was deemed a success and we can not wait to see what else lies in store!
