Alternative St. Patrick’s Day

March 17th, an infamous day on most, if not all, college campuses. For most college students, it is a chance to get in touch with your Irish roots, whether they exist or not. But for some students, dressing up in all the green things you own and becoming a hooligan isn't exactly desirable. If you're looking for something to do on St. Patrick’s Day besides pretend to be Irish, Susquehanna University students have organized several events that will be taking place on Saturday, March 17th. If you go to Susquehanna, you know Spring Break is a big deal! We only get two breaks during the spring semester, and if you’re a senior (like me) this is your last Spring Break ever! I’m here to give you some tips to make it count! Now I know that for some, money is tight and if going on an extravagant trip to Europe or Mexico just isn’t in the cards, but trust me, you can still have a fabulous break.
