I have been keeping up with the Kardashian family through every episode of their reality show, their spin-off series, and attention-grabbing social media posts. While watching their latest KUWTK season, I couldn’t help but think this season may be the “realest” yet. Here’s why!
1.) Life isn’t perfect for Kim Kardashian. She moves back in to her mom’s house with her husband and daughter while her house is under prolonged construction.
2.) Kim addresses the fact that she might have gestational diabetes while pregnant with her son.
3.) Kim scolds her mom for giving Lamar Khloe’s phone number after Khloe had attempted to cut off all ties with him. Unlike most of the family feuds seen on the show, this one carried over for some time and seemed pretty reasonable given the circumstances.
4.) Kourtney shows Kendall all the ways she stalks Scott via social media, showing viewers she’s just like us!
5.) Kylie brings Tyga along for his first family vacation with the Kardashians… and it’s awkward. The sisters didn’t want him there because they wanted a “girls only” trip.
6.) Scott tells Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Kris in detail how down he was feeling…no censorship. It was raw and eye-opening.
7.) Kim tells Kourtney she can’t use “I just had a baby” as an excuse because she “isn’t special” and needs to work like the rest of them.
8.) The family gets genetically tested to find out their risks of cancer – breast cancer is in their family. Then, they show their results on the show.
9.) Kendall yells at Caitlyn on the phone saying Caitlyn can’t come to the Victoria’s Secret fashion show because she will draw too much attention away from Kendall.
10.) Kylie allows cameras to film her crying over a fight she had with Tyga.
11.) Kim and Johnathan are in the car and the dashboard camera falls on Kim’s very pregnant belly. We are face on with her stomach! She just holds the camera in her hand for the remainder of the car ride…and they don’t cut that portion of the scene out!
12.) Kim has a frustrated phone call with her contractor for her house, and she tells him she said she wouldn’t do the extensive lighting she wanted if it was going to push back construction.
The Kardashians are finally putting the real back in reality television!
