When I watched the premiere of “This is Us” the only thing I could think of was how relatable the show was to the common family. It not only portrays the imperfections of the real world, but allows viewers to tune in and feel like they can really connect to something. I know for me, the show is a refreshing 60 minutes of relatable problems (which by the way I love). It doesn’t sugarcoat life, it embraces it.
The show focuses on a specific family of five. It shows the love, the struggles, the pain, and everything in between that these five humans share with one another. It shows us that at the end of the day, family is family and know matter the history at the end of it, they are the ones who love you most.
Grab the tissue box and prepare to spend your Tuesday nights at 9PM, tearing up. Because “This is Us” will for sure be giving you all the feels.
