Beauty Blog: The Best One Night Stand You’ll Ever Have

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Suffolk chapter.

Although your pink, purple and blue tips may make you the most scene girl at the party on Friday night, they unfortunately wont get you much respect at the office Monday morning. But don’t worry ladies, there is an easy way to be chic and trendy one day, and professional and reserved the next! Celebrities from Katy Perry to Kate Bosworth, Lauren Conrad to Lady Gaga and Dakota Fanning to Rihanna have dyed their tips bold and daring colors, but lets be honest they have the time and money to get it washed away the next day if need be, well now so can you!

Kevin Murphy, a world-renowned fashion hair stylist, has come up with a way to effortlessly dye your hair fun and bright colors and wash it out just as easily. He calls his product “Color Bug.” It has been described as hair shadow, for according to Murphy, applying hair color should be just as easy as applying makeup. Well now it is! Color Bug is wipe on-wipe off color, meant to last only one night.

Color Bug is available in Pink, Purple and Orange and can be found online for around $20

If $20 is still a stretch, or if you need more color variety and your still dying for that edgy style, you can temporarily dye your hair with oil pastels! These can be purchased for around $3 at any art supply store. All you have to do is dampen your hair and rub on the oil pastel (works best if you lay the hair on a flat surface) and voila!

Trust me, this WILL be the best one night-stand you’ll ever have!
