We chose our Top 5 of all of the videos we have seen (and there have been a lot!). The first we would like to show is the UGA Swimteam challenging the traditional Harlem Shake by shaking it under water! https://www.youtube.com/watch?... ... |

Late Night With Jimmy FallonBy November 8, 2012 - 11:30pm Last week Hurricane Sandy hit New York City in the worst way possible, the city needed to be evacuated. Jimmy Fallon though stuck it out stayed in the city and put on his late night talk show…to no audience (unless you count Mets bucket hat guy). Personally speaking I think Jimmy Fallon is great; he is EXTREMELY funny and obviously cares about his fan READ MORE |

Give Red a ChanceBy November 4, 2012 - 11:30am Like most people I am a huge Taylor Swift fan, but when I heard some of her first singles off of her new CD Red I was a little skeptical of it. I wasn’t sure if I was down with the idea of Taylor not being a full country but adding different types of music onto her CD. Alas the whole album came out and my opinion soon changed. Taylor Swift did not disappoint on Red. I think I like all of the songs on the CD, especially Starlight and I Knew You Were Trouble. I was surprised when I realized that I liked I Knew You Were Trouble because it has some dubstep in it, but what made me realize that I love this album is that Taylor Swift has not changed her song lyrics. Space JumperBy October 19, 2012 - 7:09pm This past Sunday, a monumental event occurred, with sound barrier-breaking news. Felix Baumgartner, an Austrian skydiver, daredevil, and BASE jumper, fearlessly jumped from the stratosphere. Now at first, this seems completely impossible and almost suicidal. But with his team of qualified experts behind him, or more specifically beneath him, the chance to break several world records was too tempting for Baumgartner. About five years went into planning and preparing for only a few minutes of record-breaking history. Baumgartner was brought up to space in a human-sized capsule carried by a helium balloon. The completion of the mission, named Stratos, broke several records. On October 14th, 2012, Baumgartner became the first person... |

New Boyz Coming to Stonehill??!By September 26, 2012 - 11:00pm That’s right! This year’s welcome back concert (which was awkwardly placed in October) is going to be hosting the popular band, New Boyz. You might be familiar with the songs Aint Gonna Tie Me Down, Better with the Lights Off, and You’re a Jerk, all performed by them. Personally, I think it’s the best band Stonehill has landed in the last few years and I won’t feel as bad buying that $10 wristband to get in. The concert will be held Friday, October 12th. Be sure to buy a wristband ahead of time and you will also receive a free T-shirt! The concert is a great way to have fun with your friends and hear some great music. Hope to see you there!
