What are you involved with on campus?
I am the president of the Psychology Club, secretary of Psi Chi, a member of Service Corps for Exceptional Children, and a work-study student for Bearcat BEST.
Why did you choose your major and what would you like to do after graduation?
I really like being able to understanding other people and being able to help them with any problems they have. An undergrad degree in psychology is the first step to becoming a counselor which is what I want to do as a career, as I will be entering a Doctor of Clinical Psychology program in the fall.
Other than studying, what is your favorite thing to do on campus?
My favorite thing to do on campus is to be around my friends. I truly have the best friends imaginable and any time we spend together is a fun time.
What are a few things that you look for in a guy?
I like a guy who is understanding, genuine, and has a good sense of humor. Being able to laugh with a guy is definitely key.
What is your favorite part about being a part of Bearcat Best?
My favorite part of being part of Bearcat Best is being able to eat lunch with the students. Sitting down and getting to know each one of them as an individual is heartwarming, endearing, and always brings a smile to my face. Although I have had great experiences working with the students, the relationships I have formed with them is what I am most grateful for. Each one of the students has a unique personality that never fails to bring me joy.
What is your favorite memory from Saint Vincent?
Jumping into the fountain in Sebastian’s garden last year with some great people.
I heard you have quite a few siblings. How many siblings do you have? Do you have a favorite?
I have an older sister and 2 younger brothers. No, I do not have a favorite. I have such different relationships with all of them, so time spent with them is always interesting.
Who do you look up to in life and why?
My parents. The love they have for each other and their commitment to our family is something I’d like to live by when I start a family. They are my definition of true love.
