Why did you choose to come to Saint Vincent College?
I was looking for a small school where I could play sports that was also close to home. Every time I came to Saint Vincent to visit my older sister I had a blast, everyone was super nice, very welcoming and seemed to love the school.
Why did you choose your major and what are your future plans?
I didn’t know what I wanted to do after high school, but I really liked my high school biology teacher and the way she taught really made me want to peruse biology. I also chose biology because I knew I have always wanted a job that I could do meaningful work and help other people better their lives. In the future, I would like to become a physician assistant.
What clubs/activities are you involved with on campus?
Spanish Club, SVC Alley Cats, spikeball club, SAAC, outdoors club, and Intramurals
Lacrosse season is here! Do you have any goals you are trying to accomplish for this season?
As a team we want to win the ORLC championship, also it would be pretty cool if we could host the tournament. I want to become a better player for the team and help keep the team positive and motivated.
You also play Tennis, which is also coached by Coach Walters. Which sport is your favorite?
That is a really tough question. I have always loved the team sport atmosphere because you win as a team and lose as a team. Both teams are completely different which is why I love being apart of both. I have had the opportunity to become friends with many different athletes and then seeing them all become friends on our spring break trip is pretty awesome.
So you don’t technically have a favorite, but how long have you been playing each sport?
I started playing tennis my freshman year and lacrosse my sophomore year of college.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I love Mexican food and have never had a pop tart.
Are you ready for graduation? What’s your favorite SVC memory?
No, not completely! I am going to miss the fact that in college we are constantly around our friends and we have the ability to drop everything we are doing to go do something fun.
