Hey y’all!

It’s getting pretty spooky this time of year! With all this ghostly spirit in the air, you can’t help but get excited for Halloween. Movies, pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating: the night is one for all to enjoy. If you are staying here on campus for the scary holiday, you will need to celebrate with the proper attire. Don’t go around wearing your costume during the day; instead show off one of these chic Halloween looks!

Skull Skirt

Keep things elegant yet spooky with a black and white skull skirt. The cut of a circle skirt with a tie waist adds femininity to a rather unusual print. Paired with a black top and a pop of color (perhaps orange?) in either jewelry or shoes, and you have got yourself a Halloween day outfit!

Bat Sweater

An adorable bat sweater is a great addition to any Halloween themed outfit. The simplicity gives the impression of “outfit” rather than “costume.” Also, the sweater could be worn year – round – with jean shorts for a cool summer evening, with boots and a collared shirt for winter and with select orange pieces for an eerie autumn day!

Jack-O-Lantern Top

For a more modern and youthful look, try a Halloween patterned crop top. Any girl can work this look with the right additions. Like the photo, consider high-waisted shorts or maybe go for a black maxi skirt. Whatever you choose, this shirt is a simple look that is an easy DIY project. Here is an awesome tutorial!

Orange Cardigan

Here is a look at a complete outfit. The burnt orange poses as a fashion statement, which can be worn throughout the season. Black tights accompanied with black boots are the perfect pair for your lower half. Together they are edgy yet refined, and no combination could be better for Halloween day.

Now that you have some ideas of what to wear for this ghostly holiday, you can let the trick-or-treating begin! Show off your classic style during the day and keep your more creative clothes for the night. Stay safe, stay spooky, stay stylish.

Happy Halloween, Oles! xoxo
