Hey y’all!

November is here already and it’s time to unpack your winter gear.  But this time, grab your old hat and ratty scarf and toss it in the trash.  You deserve to treat yourself to some new winter apparel.  Here are some items that have worked well in the past and others that are new trend: altogether, my season favorites.

Cable Knit Head Wraps

It’s cold outside! Warm your ears up and keep your hair tame with these adorable head wraps. Pick a cozy knit and find a DIY website, or search the web for your perfect one. Any color goes – a bright color will stand out against the snow, or a subdued neutral will blend with any outfit. Play around and don’t be afraid to try something different.

Plaid Skirt

Stay on top of your fashion game with this preppy plaid skirt. Pair it with opaque tights, cute winter boots and, of course, a cozy jacket. Dark palettes work best for an outfit in the colder seasons, so stick to burgundies and deep green or blue tones. Also, for an authentic winter feel, look for a wool skirt rather than polyester or cotton – this thick material will top off any November outfit!

Sweater Mittens

Sweater mittens are an ingenious winter invention. They are warm and cute. You can pick any sweater design you wish, and create your own. Or you can look to purchase some! Find the right color to match your jacket and hat, or be bold and pick at random. Some sellers donate to a cause, which fits for this season of giving. Take a look at this DIY  website or check at your local retailers for your perfect pair.

Snake Ring

My last and latest obsession is the snake ring. It is a simple way to show off some elegance and class. This specific ring has crystals embedded between the gunmetal lining, which is a chic contrast. You can dress it up or you can dress it down – you can wear it with basically anything! This ring is a great staple piece to any closet.

Now that you have an idea of what to purchase this winter, go and look for more! These items are basic pieces that can easily mix and match to create your own style. Winter is a good time to explore different types of boots, jackets, colors, materials – anything. Get creative and try something new. Happy shopping!

Stay stylish, Oles! xoxo
