Favorite place to study: 2nd floor of the library or on my futon.
Favorite food: Cheese and spinach ravioli with marinara sauce (except I’m gluten-free now, so a variation with gluten-free pasta).
Favorite movie: The Devil Wears Pradam because let’s be honest, St. Olaf students could learn a thing or two about fashion…
Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition: Getting up early on Thanksgiving morning to do lots of baking with my mom and my sister.
Favorite Winter Activity: Escaping winter to a warmer destination, preferably somewhere in Mexico with a beach.
Hobbies: Traveling, cooking, taking different kinds of fitness classes, reading and listening to NPR and online shopping.
Campus Activities: Teaching Zumba classes, dancing with Veselica and singing with Colligate Chorale.
After St. Olaf I would like to: Maybe go to law school – I haven’t fully decided yet.
Proudest Moment/Greatest Achievement: Becoming a dual citizen! I’m proudly a Latvian and U.S. citizen.
What do you want the ladies of St. Olaf to know?: Make sure to take time for yourself, and never leave your room without looking and feeling confident about yourself. Other people will pick up on your infectious positive energy.
