5 Things to Keep in Mind During Finals Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. Law U chapter.

Finals week is just around the corner. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed? Here are five things to keep in mind to keep you on track and help you finish strong!

1.)   Plan out your days!

If you don’t already have a planner, buy one and create a schedule for each day. It will help keep you on track with your assignment and studying.

2.)   Take a break from studying to get some exercise.

No matter how much work you have it’s important to take a break and go on a run, a bike ride, a hike, or even just a walk downtown and back. It will help clear your head and then you can return to your work with a healthy and refreshed mindset!

3.)   Make your study space cozy.

Whether you’re in the library, the Student Center, outside at a picnic table, or in your room, try to make your study space comfortable. Take everything out that you need, get organized, wear something cozy, get your favorite drink from the Bookstore, your favorite snack, and settle in!

4.)   Sleep should be a #1 priority.

No matter how much work you have or how you stressed you feel, sleep is most important. You can’t think or work as well on a tired brain.

5.)   Treat yourself!

This is such a busy time and you’re spreading yourself pretty thin, there’s nothing wrong with some indulgence. Whether that comes in the shape of a pub cookie, a slice of pizza from Little Italy, a milkshake from Stewart’s, whatever it may be, you deserve a treat! Happy studying :)
