When we think of fall, we think of PSL’s, cozy sweaters, and crisp air. However, we live in Columbia where we still drink iced coffee and wear tank tops with shorts in November’s hot(ish) weather. Don’t fret though, there are ways to dress in fall style even in the heat. Take a peek at some of the best ‘faux fall’ looks for this crazy weather.

1. Light Sweaters

The easiest thing to do is to find some super cute, lightweight sweaters and long sleeve shirts. Pair them with denim shorts, booties, and a sude hat, and you’re good to go!

2. Skirts

Another trendy outfit is taking a suede skirt and pairing it with a cute leotard and booties or boots! This outfit will definitely look the part of “fall,” while you’re still keeping cool.

3. T-Shirt Dress

Take any simple t-shirt dress you wore in the summer and pair it with a plaid shirt or chambray button-up to tie around your waist. Finish it off with booties for a dressier look or with a pair of tennis shoes/converses for a relaxed look.

4. Cropped Sweater

Lastly, you can totally still use your denim shorts and pair them with a chunky cropped sweater for that in between weather! From a bootie to the trendy Adidas All-Star’s to a simple sandle or flat, you can rock this look many ways!

It’s easy to transition your summer wardrobe for fall when the weather is still warm. Remember, play around with the basics and wear warm tones!
