One of the best parts of the University of South Carolina’s nightlife is the fact that there are so many options. Everyone has their own favorite bar, but if you want to mix it up, the choices are there. Some of the boys here at Carolina truly embody some of the bars in Five Points. We compiled a list of the different boys you will meet over the course of your four years, and which bar represents their type best.
Breakers
The guy who’s very hot and cold towards you. You never know what you’re going to get with this kid. Sometimes he’s super nice and you have a great time together, but sometimes he completely ignores you.
Breakers Live
The most popular guy on campus. There’s always a line for Breakers Live just like there’s always a line of girls dying for this kid to notice them.
Salty
Your best “guy friend.” You come here because you know you can count on a good time (and good food). Overall very reliable – when all else fails you know you have him to lean on.
Pavs
The freshman. With a fake ID hot off the press, this kid thinks he’s invincible and holds nothing back when he’s hitting on girls. Unfortunately for him, he’s just annoying.
Jake’s
The older guy. Maybe he graduated, maybe he’s an upperclassman. Either way you’re dying for him to notice you. But even if he did, deep down you know he’s too old for you anyways.
