We’re back to school, which means we are once again ballin’ on a budget. Makeup and other beauty products can be expensive, but we all want to look and feel our best! So, we’ve decided put together a list of some awesome beauty tips and tricks that will save you time, make products last longer, and save you a few extra bucks:

Going out but you don’t have time to shower? Try using baby powder to help save your hair! Dry shampoos can be expensive, and they never seem to work as well. Baby powder is cheap and will last a very long time!

-Wash your makeup brushes once a week. It helps your brushes last a lot longer. Also, people often think their makeup causes acne, but not washing your brushes can actually be the cause of that break out. So wash up, ladies!

You don’t need to buy expensive brush cleaner to clean your makeup brushes! Baby shampoo works really well and is super cheap!

Use primer! When you’re doing a full face of makeup (foundation, eye shadow, lipstick, the works) primer can make all the difference! Primer will make your makeup last longer, so you won’t have to reapply or touch it up as often. Foundation primer, eye shadow primer, and lip primer are lifesavers. Just let your primer sit for a minute before you apply makeup.

For some reason, conditioner ALWAYS seems to outlive shampoo. A great way to use up that extra conditioner is to use it to shave your legs! Conditioner works great as a faux shaving cream, and it also helps moisturize your legs.

Do you ever get mascara on your face or on your eyelids? You don’t have to leave it or wash your makeup off to fix it! Instead, let the mascara dry completely, and then use a dry cotton swab to wipe it away! This way your makeup stays in tact and you get that pesky mascara off your face!
