Columbia, SC, May 20, 2016 – Her Campus Media announces the Fall 2016 ranking of its campus chapters nationwide, revealing Her Campus South Carolina at the pink level, among the top 25% of its 300+ chapters.
The Her Campus South Carolina team is thrilled that all of their hard work from this past semester paid off. From electing a new executive board, to implementing new social media expansions and hosting more #girlboss events, they sure made a name for themselves on campus. Now, known as the #girlboss organization, HCSC works to empower the undergraduate women at the University of South Carolina.
This all began after the, then Event Directors, Lexi Hill and Allie Blissit, organized and spearheaded the organization’s first annual In Her Shoes event. Garnering an attraction of 80+ students, this event showcased three local women entrepreneurs who are making an impact in the Columbia area.
After graduating this past May, Her Campus South Carolina Campus Correspondent, Kristina Zagame passed her title to juniors Lexi Hill and Reilly Tuccinard. As the Campus Correspondent for HCSC for two years, Zagame paved the way for Hill and Tuccinard who are planning a chapter re-launch for this fall.
