We’ve all been stuck in that awkward break between classes, when we’re feeling the hunger but don’t know, or don’t feel like we have time, to eat before class. Worry no more – here are the top lunch spots on campus, ranked:
1. Café 43
Hidden inside the George W. Bush Presidential Center, you’ll find a chic café with perfect selfie lighting. The restaurant offers “locally-sourced, organic dishes that change seasonally, with complex interpretations of Texas-influenced dishes and classic favorites.” And if you’re legal and in need of a Monday mimosa, they’ve got you covered. It’s also rumored that Laura B. comes in with her gal-pals every once in a while, so be on the lookout when you stop by.

2. Hughes-Trigg Market
Many forget that there’s a market inside of Hughes-Trigg, but it’s the spot to go to if you need a good, and quick, meal. From sushi, to cereal, and even a Mexican food stand, you’ll find everything you need in just one place. And if that’s not enough, then you can always venture downstairs for some Subway, Campisis, or Chick-fil-A.

3. P.O.D. at the Bonelli
Similar to Hughes-Trigg, this is a great spot to get your on-the-go meals, but it is also a really relaxing space to get your work done while you munch…or to gossip quietly with your friends. They have salads, sushi, and even ice-cream. Find it inside the Meadow’s building on the ground floor.

4. Einstein Bros Bagels
While limited in some options and crowded by the always-moving business students, the bagel shop at Cox is a great place to go to for a morning pick-me-up. But be warned: sometimes the line will seem endless.

5. Mac’s Place
Inside McElvaney (though you can no longer cut through the buidling), Mac’s gives you classic lunch options with a great social environment. The new location also has a great outdoor patio, which is perfect if you’re working on getting your tan.
