By Caroline Slattery
April 24, 2013 - 11:35pm

We’ve all seen the new dorms protruding on the southeast side of campus. But do you know the details? The dorms are part of a $134.5 million initiative, which create a Residential Commons (RC) for students and faculty. Construction started in 2012 and will terminate in Summer 2014. The RC will house student leaders, as well as live-in faculty and staff members.  SMU hopes the RC will provide a platform for students to engage in opportunities with faculty outside of the classroom, according to their website. Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and dab a thin layer over the blemish. Let it dry for a couple hours and then peel it off. Wash your face afterwords and continue with your daily facial skin routine.   Tip two: Caffeine fixes puffy eyes ...

The Morning After

With big little and formals just behind us, we are still suffering from the hangovers – throbbing temples, sensitive stomachs, and blackening bruises. Yet, the worst of all is the knot in your stomach that you get when you open your phone. Eyes tearing from the brightness of the I-phone glaring at you, your heart starts pounding as you see notifications from Facebook and Instagram. You can only hope that they just got posted, as you already know your eyes are closed in half of them, your smile is either lopsided or too big for words, and your makeup no longer exists. In a nutshell, you look ****faced. READ MORE

90's Throwbacks

As the hangovers from Victory subside and the first slew of tests creep upon us this week, campus is looking drab, weary, and in desperate need of a throwback.
