7 Dog Instagrams You Need To Be Following

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SMU chapter.

It’s finals season, which means the library will be your new home over the next few weeks and caffeine will be coursing through your veins as you make one final push for a strong finish to your fall semester. While study breaks are inevitable (we are human) skip your usual mundane Facebook feed for a dose of some adorable doggies! Check out these seven instagram accounts starring the cutest pooches you’ll ever see for a much needed stress reliever.

1. Miles the Husky – @iheartmiles

Miles is an L.A. based husky who wants to change the world. He posts pictures of his many adventures with friends and encourages people to be their best selves.

2. Milo the Frech Bulldog – @frenchiebutt

If you also love to sleep and eat, Milo the french bulldog is your dog! Milo is from Seattle and when he’s not cuddled in his cozy blankets, you can find him balancing carrots on top of his nose.

3. Cookie the Poodle – @ps.ny

I’ve never seen a more sophisticated pooch in my entire life until I happened upon Cookie the Poodle. When this N.Y.C. native poodle isn’t posing in Central Park, she can be found anywhere from relaxing at Venice Beach to exploring Amsterdam with her adventurous owner, Olia Saunders (who also posts yummy vegan recipes!).

4. Geordi la Corgi – @lacorgi

Geordi La Corgi is an athlete, model, and food enthusiast. This Californian corgi posts pictures from all over the west coast with his signiture sassy captions.

5. Samson the Goldendoodle – @samsonthedood

Samson is a Canadian goldendoodle, who lives in Brooklyn and is just a regular ol’ ‘dood. He posts pictures of himself hanging with friends, exploring the city, and relaxing with Netflix and pajamas—basically the most relatable goldendoodle I have ever seen.

6. Sid the Beagle – @myregalbeagle

Based in Austin, TX, this beagle just wants to make the world a better and happier place—one pizza slice at a time. Sid the beagle doesn’t only post cute pictures, but also sells cards and stickers with his iconic pizza pose.

7. Doug the Pug – @itsdougthepug

Doug has reached a level of stardom some of us only dream about achieving. This pug is the King of Pop Culture and was the first verified animal on Spotify. Most recently he appeared in Fall Out Boy’s new music video for their song “Irresistable” alongside Demi Lovato. When he’s not covering Lollapalooza or being interviewed by TIME or Buzzfeed, Doug is living in Nashville with his owner Leslie Moiser.
