Spring has officially sprung in Dallas, and it is time to update your makeup bag from products for the chilly winter to the best warm-weather buys! Here are some easy switches you can make to adjust for the upcoming sunny days.

1. Add some glow with the Body Shop’s Radiant Highlighter. Mix a pea-sized amount of this liquid highlighter in with your foundation for a dewy look, or use it as a primer all over your face for an extra fresh, springy look.

Radiant Highlighter, $14.50 at The Body Shop

2. Use a lighter foundation or BB/CC Cream like the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+. Fuller coverage foundations are great for the winter when our skin is looking dull, dry, and rather blah, but (if you feel comfortable) opt for a lighter coverage foundation to show off your new spring sun-kissed glow. But since we don’t want to get too sun-kissed the SPF 50+ is fantastic. This CC Cream is medium coverage,  it smells like lemons, and is  best for girls with normal to dry skin.

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+, $38 at Ulta

3. Switch up your bold lip from a matte red to a glossy pink. Though it’s always fun to rock a red lip (like the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella) a glossy pink is more spring appropriate. The Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lipgloss in Scandal is the perfect, universally flattering bright pink color for spring. This Urban Decay lipgloss paired with a shimmery gold eye will be your go-to spring makeup look.
