Meet Ben and Trevor, an adorable dynamic duo with equally awesome blonde hair! As involved students in the SMC community, this couple might be one of the most popular on campus. How did you meet?
Trevor: We met last year at Common Ground, and kind of had a thing last year but nothing ever came of it, and then actually got together last semester.
What was your first date?
Trevor: Well the first time we were ever really hanging out and intimately interested in each other was at Turtle.
Ben: But our first date date was after we had been together for a month, we went and got dinner. So it was an official thing.
Do you have any nicknames for each other?
Ben: Not really, do we?
Trevor: Not really, I just call him Benji sometimes. (Laughs) These are embarrassing questions!
Do you have a song?
Ben: There’s a lot to choose from…I’ll let you answer this one.
Trevor: It’s not really our song, but something that was sung a lot when we first started dating was “Baby it’s Cold Outside.” Because it’s so warm when you’re cuddling that you just don’t want to leave!
Ben: (Laughs) That’s a good answer!
Any plans after college?
Trevor: Well, I’m graduating a year earlier than he is so who knows what I’m going to do…probably some sort of community work. That’s something that’s not even on the radar yet.
Ben: I want to do the Peace Corps, but kind of the same thing. Off the radar.
If you could go on vacation together, where would it be?
Ben: Somewhere cold!
Trevor: An ice tour in Alaska.
Which celebrity couple are you most similar to?
Ben: Jay-Z and Beyonce. They’re awesome.
Trevor: That is the perfect answer. Which one are you?
Ben: I don’t really care, we can trade off!
