21 Songs For The Soul

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SMCVT chapter.

Sometimes all it takes is the right song.

These songs transport me to a memory or a feeling, something I think most people can relate to. I love to listen to other people’s playlists, which can essentially be a playlist of their emotions and complexities. These songs remind me of the windows rolled down in the summer, driving without a destination, feeling light, blissful and content. They remind me of campfires and sunsets. They bring me close to the people I love, even being very far from them. The power of music is undeniable, and worth taking the time to appreciate and share.
