Patience is key. It’s the sweetest thing when your boy sits there on the bed watching you put on your makeup and pretending not to be bored out of his mind when you make sure your eyelashes look perfect. All he wants to do is go get dinner.
2. When you do a background check on most of his friends who are girls.
You trust your boy, but that isn’t the issue. We all know girls are a little bit crazy and we are just looking out for him. When your boy understands that you need to know the gal before he becomes best friends with her, he’s a keeper.
3. When you ride shotgun and you leave footprints on his dashboard.
Middle of the summer, your boy has his car all ready and clean to ride around with this windows down. Your feet are up on the dash but you don’t realize your flips are a little dusty… Oops!
4. When you take all of the covers and he pretends that he wasn’t cold all night.
Wake up. Look down. You have all the covers. It’s happened to all of us.
5. When you start your period and you wake up and wanna die but he pretends he’s not grossed out.
All that’s missing is some tea and a Netflix day.
6. When you bring him to hang out with your friends and he plays the “gay best friend” role and gossips like one of the gals.
We’ve all been there… When he can turn on his gossip switch and make it okay that he’s the only boy there and we are inevitably going to talk about how stupid boys can be…and he agrees.
7. When you bring him to meet your parents and you dress him up to look presentable.
The button down and nice pants just makes you more confident that the rents will like him. He has got this in the bag. AND he looks amazing.
8. When you refuse to give any input on where to eat but fully expect him to make the right decision.
You really want to go eat your feelings at Panera but you want him to say it first.
9. When you refuse to take the compliment when he says you’re cute but you aren’t feeling pretty.
He really is trying. But you can’t help that you feel like you look like a potato. He isn’t lying, you really are beautiful to him no matter that.
10. When you change the plan 4901243709 times and he keeps his cool.
Plans change… you just want to keep him updated.
11. When you get upset when he ruins a plan that he never knew existed.
When you have something you wanted to do but you didn’t tell him but hedefinitely should have known.
12. When you need to hide from the world and he has no problem doing it with you.
Sometimes we all need to hide from the world… When your boy ditches the bros to cuddle, you know it’s real.
