Her Campus: What is your favorite season to dress for and why?
Caroline Uphus: Definitely fall, because I go through phases where I sometimes want to be extremely unaware of my body and sometimes I want to be very aware of my body. With fall, I can accommodate that by layering, so I can always take things off if I want to change things up.
HC: How has the Skidmore community influenced your personal style?
CU: I feel like I’ve definitely stopped trying to look extremely put together and clean cut, maybe it’s because I want to emulate a dad. Yeah, that’s probably it.
HC: What is your go-to fashion accessory?
CU: Whatever beanie I found on sale in the men’s section at Target and all my rings.
HC: Who are your fashion icons?
CU: Kirsten Stewart, Mac Demarco, my best friend Joe, Monica Geller, my dad, FKA Twigs, Drake.
HC: Where do you like to shop for clothing?
CU: Other people’s closets! (Sorry parents)
