It’s that time of year again – Thanksgiving. Turkey, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes await us in the not-to-distant future, as do the crazy family get-togethers and the food comas that follow. But what’s even more insane than the frantic baking, cooking, cleaning and family drama? Why, the day that comes after, of course!

The onset of Turkey Day means that Black Friday shopping is nearly upon us. Those of us who choose to brave the malls and outlets know that the experience is a wild whirlind of emotions, and here are some of the most memorable moments.

How you feel when you have to wake up at 5 a.m. after a day of marathon eating in order to beat the crowds:

When you arrive at the mall and someone takes the last spot (which you definitely saw first):

When you get into that first store and realize all the possibilities, because EVERYTHING is on sale:

When that crazy lady with fifty other bags cuts you in line:

When you reach for the last sweater in your size and another girl has her hand on it too:

When you realize that there’s an extra discount on the dress you’re buying, on top of the one you already knew about:

When you’re in line behind a man who is arguing about his coupons with the cashier:

How you feel when you finally get to a store where the line isn’t out the door:

When you realize you were actually able to complete most of your Christmas shopping:

What you look like when you’re finally leaving the mall:

Happy shopping everybody, and good luck!
