10 TV Shows to Marathon Over Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Skidmore chapter.

Is winter break made for anything other than sitting on the couch and watching Netflix all day? Probably not, let’s be real here. For your viewing pleasure, and for my finals-procrastionation-pleasure, I’ve compiled a list of the ten best TV shows to marathon watch this break, all available on Netflix. I picked shows that keep you going from one episode to the next-shows that are literally made for marathoning. Sorry about your break.

1. MTV Scream Oh my God, I cannot get over this show. It is equally terrible and wonderful. Perfect if you like a little scare, but be careful if blood and gore make you sick easily.

2. Pretty Little Liars  In my humble opinion there’s nothing better to marathon watch than Pretty Little Liars. It might be the most entertaining show on television.

3. Fixer Upper Nothing is more feel good than a Fixer Upper marathon. Also may inspire you to rearrange your entire bedroom.

4. The Crown It’s like entertainment and a history lesson in one!

5. Ghost Adventures Zak, Nick, and Aaron are literally three of the funniest guys on television… they just don’t realize it.

6. Gossip Girl UGH <3

7. Sherlock This is probably the best way to keep your brain from turning to mush over break. You gotta be smart to keep up with Sherlock.

8. Jane the Virign Duh. We’re written a million articles about how much we love this show at HC Skidmore

9. Goosebumps

Relive your childhood! And be surprised at how lowkey scary this show still is.

10. How to Get Away with Murder Another really great way to keep your brain from turning to mush. It took most of my mental stamina to keep up with this show.

Gwen is a senior, English major, and co-CC of Her Campus Skidmore. She spends a lot of time watching Pretty Little Liars and Fixer Upper, listening to music, staring at her comptuer screen and wishing words would come easier, and waiting for the New York Islanders to win another Stanley Cup (preferably at the Coli). Also, she really likes cheese and is trying to learn to skateboard. It's not going very well.
