The 8 semesters I have spent at SJU have been the fastest 4 years of my life. As a graduating senior Gifs are the only way I can sum up my time at Hawk Hill.

  1. Freshman Year: Fall Semester

College has officially begun. Where to start? So many new people! No curfew! You’re like kids in a candy shop.

2. Freshman Year: Spring Semester

Close friends are made. Maybe you rushed a sorority or joined “The Hawk.” You know when Campion is serving sushi. High school you is gone and you finally feel like you’re a real college student.

3. Sophomore Year: Fall Semester

Dorm life no more! Welcome to the first step of living independently. Whether you are living in Pennbrook or Lannon you still have to keep the music to a reasonable level because you know, RAs.

4. Sophomore Year: Spring Semester

You’ve probably discovered Manayunk and the thrill of sneaking past bouncers. You run squad deep through “Mike’s Pizza” at 2am.

5. Junior Year: Fall Semester

Welcome to off campus life. You could be living abroad, Manayunk, or close enough to walk to Starbucks before class. This is college like you have never seen it before. Total freedom.

6. Junior Year: Spring Semester

It’s party season. Everyone is turning 21 and that means trips to AC and checking out the bars in Center City Philly. Brunch is now a sunday morning ritual.

7. Senior Year: Fall Semester

You take pictures on the first day of classes because last first day ever. You know Hawk Hill like the back of your hand and are ready to start the year strong.

8. Senior Year: Spring Semester

Welcome to the end. Everyone is going out with a bang and your senioritis is 3 times worse now than it was in high school. Maybe you have a job after graduation or maybe you’re joining the Peace Corp. Either way you’ll always remeber how amazing your 8 semesters of college at SJU were.

That’s all from me.
