The Forty Minute iPod Workout Playlist

Since it has been such a chilly winter, most of us have had to resort to the gym for our workouts. Motivating yourself to go to the gym on a busy school day or a lazy weekend takes a lot of mental discipline. If you have a good playlist to get you through, however, it may help make your time at the gym more enjoyable. If you like to get your work out done at a fast past under 40 minutes, than this playlist is for you.

For this playlist, it is best to be on the treadmill or elliptical. However, the music can be applied for weight training as well.

Warm Up: Walk on the fast on the tread Mill/ move on elliptical

1-4 minutes

-Take a walk: Passion Pit

Getting Started: Push up your speed to at least 5.5/incline to 3

5-10 minutes

-It’s You:  (Dj Snake Remix) Duck Sauce

-Work Bitch: Britney Spears

Full Speed Ahead: Speed To 6 or 6.5/ Incline and pace to a 7

10-23 Minutes

-Easy: Mat Zo

-Million Voices: Otto Knows

-So Young So High: Dada Life

Want to Quit but you Can’t: 1 minute sprint in between. Then Keeping going!

25-35 minutes

-Roar: Katy Perry (Surprising but it works to get to the next song without stopping)

-Pursuit of Happiness (Remix) Steve Aoki

Cool Down: Decrease speed 3 levels/decrease incline 

35-40 Minutes
