De-stress in Philly this Finals Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SJU chapter.

We might be coming up on the last few weeks on Hawk Hill but Philly is just starting to come alive for the summer. Take a break from studying for finals and enjoy some of the good weather and fun times.

South Street

Not only are there a ton of great places to eat on South Street but it is home to the popular Magic Gardens and small shops and businesses. It’s a great area to go on a Sunday morning run, shopping, or exploring. The annual Spring Festival also takes place on May 6th.

Rittenhouse Square

If you’re tired of studying in the same old places Rittenhouse Square is a perfect place to enjoy the weather and be productive at the same time. Study outside, at the Barnes and Noble across the street from the park, or Starbucks.

Spruce Street Harbor Park

Finally, if you’re still around on May 12th, Spruce Street Harbor Park will be opening back up for the season.

Happy Studying!
