Ladies, it is my pleasure to introduce to you, the one and only, Pat Yanni. This food marketing major, hailing from Scranton, Pa, is smart, funny, and quite the charmer. In addition to these fine qualities, Pat is super involved on campus and just arrived back from spending a semester studying in Florence, Italy. HC: You just spent the fall semester studying in Florence, what was your favorite thing about being abroad?
PY: I loved how everywhere you go, you see new faces and new places. However, you create this atmosphere that feels like home even though you are miles and miles away. Also….. I was on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.”
HC: Was there a particular trip or city that really stood out to you?
PY: “Pienza. My favorite cheese is Pecorino and Pienza is the Pecorino capital of the world”
HC: What were you looking forward to the most about coming back to SJU?
PY: “Seeing my friends on campus”
HC: And what we really want to know….How would you say the italian women compared to the fine ladies here at SJU?
PY: “ For one thing, the girls at SJU actually talk to me. Language is key.”
