Her Campus Siena had a one-on-one with one of the busiest girls on campus — Gabby Agostino!
Name: Gabby Agostino
Class Year: Sophomore, 2020
Major: Political Science Major with a Pre-Law Certificate
Favorite spot on campus: The grotto, it’s a nice calming space and I meditate there every once in a while.
Who’s your favorite Disney Princess?: Rapunzel, she’s fun-loving and funny, didn’t know she was a princess for most of the movie. Plus Flynn Ryder is bae.
HC Siena: What are you involved with on campus?
Gabby Agostino: I’m Captain of the Mock Trial team, Vice President of Siena Democrats, Secretary of the Pre-Law Society, as well as being an active member of the Political Science Society and Sr. Thea Bowman Women’s Center.
HCS: How do you stay so organized and on top of everything?
GA: I’ve got both monthly and weekly dry erase calendars to keep me on track, not to mention lots of to-do lists and reminders on my phone.
HCS: What’s the most rewarding part of being so involved on campus?
GA: All the upperclassmen friends I’ve made, a large majority of my friends I wouldn’t have met if I hadn’t joined these clubs.
HCS: So what do you hope to do post-grad?
GA: Go to law school. Then maybe work for a prestigious law firm in order to learn the necessary skill sets to make change for those who are underrepresented individuals.
HCS: Is there any advice you’d really want to go back and give your freshman self?
GA: To stay on campus more. I left a lot on the weekends to see my then-boyfriend, and I should have used that time to make more friends who are in my class.
HCS: Who is someone that you look up to and aspire to be like?
GA: Michelle Obama, because she’s such a strong independent woman!
