If you know me, you’ll know that I’m one of those people that openly tells everyone about my period. If I’m on my period, you’ll know (I’m on my period). So, I was very interested to try out these Simple Summer’s Eve wipes we received! Here’s my review and some thoughts I have about them.
Me at least 3x a day^^^ Simply is a line of products by Summer’s Eve that are free from harsh chemicals and dyes. It’s a great line of products that help you stay fresh and clean. Summer’s Eve makes wonderful feminine hygene products from cleaning wipes to body powder. I actually have and am currently using Summer’s Eve cleansing wash as a part of my shower routine! I feel like I need these products the most when I am on my period, probably because I become much more aware about the scents from my body (I can’t be the only one?!).
The wipes come individually wrapped which makes it so easy to carry around in my emergency kit and have on the go. When I first opened the package, immediately, I could smell the freshness and the scent of the mandarin blossom. As someone who typically prefers unscented products, the scent of the wipe was not too strong. It was a light soapy smell with a hint of citrus and flower (I guess that makes sense since the scent is named mandarin blossom). The wipe itself was soft to the touch and comfortable while wiping. However, I did not like the feeling after I wiped. It’s hard to describe it exactly, but it had a bit of a residue feeling, but not in a sticky way, more like that feeling after using hand sanitizer.
Overall, I enjoyed using this product. It’s not expensive and useful to have on hand. Of course, experiences differ from person to person, what works for me may not work for you. For me, I probably will not add this to my daily routine but will continue to recommend this to family, friends, and you! Give it a try! Maybe this is the product that you never knew you needed!
