No matter which team people were rooting for in the Super Bowl this year, at one point in the game we all felt our hearts break a little. For Falcon fans up until the last quarter it looked to be a definite win, and then 4tth Quarter happened and at the very last minute the game was tied and we all sat there in suspense, waiting to see what would happen during overtime.
As a Patriots fan, I watched the Falcons excel during the first half, and during half time I tried to come to terms with the fact that maybe my team would not win. It was hard, and a little upsetting but no matter what they are my team and I’m with them til the end. No hopping on the bandwagon for this girl.
Of course while the Falcon fans had a rough 4th Quarter, I was ecstatic as touch downs and two-point conversions were being carried out successfully, and the within the last minute the game was tied! Which of course led to the first overtime in Super Bowl history.
There is no way to describe the amount of screaming and the excitement I felt as White made that two yard touchdown and won the game. It was one of the best football games I have ever watched, especially being a Patriots fan. They made one of the most unlikely wins with a score of 34-28. I have never been more proud of my team than I was watching and getting to experience that game.
