In celebration of Earth Day, and going green, Apple has announced that all its retail stores, facilities, and data centers are powered with clean energy. Yep, 100 percent clean. In 43 countries!

“We’re committed to leaving the world better than we found it,” Tim Cook said in a recent press release. And they aren’t just all talk. In lieu of the occasion, Apple has also announced a new gadget: Daisy. A disassembly robot that reclaims materials through breaking down iPhones to recycle them.

Giving back, is also a part of their step forward into the green world, as customers will have the opportunity to return their devices at any Apple Store through their website. Pretty sweet deal. And environmentally friendly!

According to CNN, experts say that companies going green, and becoming more sustainable is the smart move if they want longevity. So, here’s to a step in the right direction. Earth Day is on April 22nd, how will you participate?
