5 Feelings We Have Leaving SHU

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Seton Hall chapter.

5 Feelings We Have Leaving SHU

1. Excited

Long days in the sun and being reunited with our squad from home is what we live for! We’re more than excited to be back home and enjoying the warm weather… And not to mention… we’re pretty happy finals are over!

2. Hungry

Sure the caf isn’t horrible here, but nothing beats mom’s home cooked meals! Fancy pasta dishes, homemade grilled cheese, delicious desserts… Who said the freshman 15 was gained while at school!?

3. Tired

After a long year of early 8 a.m.’s, late nights of studying for finals, and fun nights out with friends, we’re ready to relax and sleep in. Let your body rest and relax and sleep as much as you want!

4. Tearful

Leaving all of our new friends might be the saddest thing… especially for the besties we’ve made when we live out of state! We’ve prepared ourselves for long Facetimes, heartfelt text messages, and hardcore withdrawals from our friends!

5. Bittersweet

We’ve made a home over the past school year, and that home is in South Orange. Leaving is a bittersweet feeling… we’ll miss Ms. Virginia’s breakfast sandwiches and those M&M cookies… guess we’ll see ya in a few months SHU!

Hello all, my name is Courtney Jenney and I am one of the writers for the Seton Hall Her Campus. I am a Journalism and Public Relations major studying as a full time student at Seton Hall University. I consider myself a lover of all things beautiful; fashion, well-being, beauty, health, art, travel, and music. I was born and raised on Cape Cod in Massachusetts; home to beautiful beach views and royal history. My home is an hour south of Boston; which is why I have a love for all of the New England/Boston sports teams. As passionate for writing as I am, I am striving to entertain others with my writing and provide lively topics for other students around campus! Cheers to the future! XO
