Dipped Tips!

By Olivia Hill
April 2, 2012 - 10:56pm

A new season is upon us, meaning it’s time to shed our old winter layers and jump into the bright colors of spring! Two trends we love this season are: bright neon clothing pieces and “ombré” hairstyles. The first is easy to achieve: there’s no doubt our favorite stores—Forever 21, H&M, Express, and so on—will have tops and skirts to work into your wardrobe. The latter is the idea of having your hair color go from dark roots to lighter ends, whether it be from letting an old dye job grow out, or actually dying your tips a lighter hue. Gym Motivation: How to get your A** off the Couch and to the Gym

By Holly Howson-Watt
March 6, 2012 - 1:15pm

Like most people in college, I am incredibly busy. Every week I have to work to fit a million different things into my schedule: school, work, friends, clubs, meetings, etc… the list goes on and on.

The one thing that I tend to neglect when all these things become overwhelming is my body. I don’t know about you, but after a terrible day, packed  with errands and homework galore, Panda Express and vegging in front of the television sounds like the greatest thing in the world. Unfortunately, thanks to science, and The Biggest Loser, we know that’s about the worst thing one can do to make his/herself feel better. Surprise, surprise!...
