Every third Sunday in May, thousands of people, ranging from professional runners and San Francisco residents to public nudity enthusiasts, will run, walk, and stumble from one side of San Francisco to the other. 	International Children's Film Festival By Jay Dubashi April 27, 2013 - 11:00am Summer is a great time to be a movie buff. All the major studios are gearing up with their biggest hits. Sadly, we have to wait a few months before getting to all the big blockbusters. Fortunately, there’s a way to satisfy your film cravings right now. Come to the 7th annual Children’s Film Festival on April 27th at the Children’s Discovery Museum in San Jose. See some amazing amateur films made by children and young filmmakers of all ages. The festival takes place over two days, with over a hundred films to be screened, from live-action to animation to documentaries. READ MORE
	SCU Solar Decathlon: Radiant House Groundbreaking By Jay Dubashi April 25, 2013 - 12:00pm Most of us went on a tour of the school before we decided on coming to Santa Clara. On that tour, chances are that you passed by an odd looking house in a strange place, between Malley and the parking garage. What most SCU students don't know is that this building represents one of SCU's biggest achievements. It's the 2009 Solar Decathlon house, and it has helped to propel Santa Clara into the top tier of engineering schools. READ MORE
	Spring Concert: Love and Theft By Jay Dubashi April 23, 2013 - 8:00pm Spring is in the air. With it come wonderful things like tanning, beach trips, and day parties. For SCU students, spring also means another inexpensive concert sponsored by the school. Past years have featured artists such as Diplo and Hoodie Allen. This year, Love and Theft are coming to campus. Love and Theft is a country music duo made up of members Eric Gunderson and Stephon Barker Liles. Their hit singles ‘Runaway’ and ‘Angel Eyes’ have both reached Billboard Top 10. READ MORE
	Derby Days 2013: The Derby South By Shannon Price April 17, 2013 - 12:15am It’s that time of the year again: the gentlemen of Sigma Chi Fraternity are bringing back Derby Days! The proceeds from the fourth annual Derby Days will go to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. 	Bronco Night and Midnight Breakfast By Jay Dubashi March 14, 2013 - 9:00pm Friends, it's week 10. This is the point in the quarter where the only thing on our minds is getting through finals. Dishes pile up in the sink and we start digging through the bottom of our closets for the one clean shirt we know HAS to be in there. We exist for three things: studying, sleeping, and occasionally stuffing our faces with whatever sugary snacks the cellar has to offer. Nerves are frayed, and tempers rise. 	Last Home Game: Men’s Basketball vs. LMU By Jay Dubashi February 28, 2013 - 8:00pm Santa Clara isn't exactly what you’d call a sports centered school. We don't have a football team, or a multimillion-dollar arena. We don't get ESPN headlines or 5-Star recruits. But what we lack in size, we make up for in passion. Ever since I've come to SCU, I've been astounded at the show of student fans at games. For such a small school, the student body does more to support the sports teams than I expected. I've seen us drown out Stanford in their own stadium. I've seen students cheering passionately in the middle of a winless season. We may not be the Cameron Crazies, but we do more than hold our own. The passion and energy shown by the students here is just one of the things that makes me proud to be a Bronco....
	Family Weekend By Jay Dubashi, Regina V. Fields February 22, 2013 - 3:00am For some of us, leaving for college meant leaving our homes. Instead of seeing our family every day, we'd call them a few times a week. It's hard to tell your parents and siblings all the great things going on in your life when they aren’t here to see it. Fortunately, Santa Clara allows an opportunity for families to come visit with Family Weekend. Family Weekend is more than a time when parents come to campus: it's a chance for them to be a part of the Santa Clara family. From seminars and mock classes to the Senior Parent Dance, Family Weekend is a great way to introduce your family to the Santa Clara we know and love. READ MORE
