Bay to Breakers.  The biggest, wildest party in the Bay Area.  Every third Sunday in May, thousands of people, ranging from professional runners and San Francisco residents to public nudity enthusiasts, will run, walk, and stumble from one side of San Francisco to the other. Oh and drunk college kids.  Lots and lots of drunk college kids. READ MORE

Sonya Venugopal: "Footloose"

By Lauren Liu
May 16, 2013 - 5:16pm

This past week I talked to Sonya Venugopal, one of the stars of the upcoming spring musical Footloose.  She opened up about her past experiences in the spotlight, the ups and downs of rehearsal and what she loves to do when she’s not singing and dancing.  Her spunky charm and warm personality are evident in person as much as they are on stage.  Having performed in last year’s musical Little Shop of Horrors, Sonya will be gracing the stage once again as Ariel, the lead female role, this spring. Stay tuned -- this is a must see performance! READ MORE

The Genius Behind "Game of Thrones"

By Mike Davis
May 6, 2013 - 2:50pm

**WARNING: Spoilers lie ahead** “There’s no way he’s going to kill Ned Stark,” I thought to myself as I watched the first season of Game of Thrones this past summer.  “He’s basically the Frodo Baggins of this tale, he’s obviously going to win the Iron Throne,” I repeated as that evil bastard Joffrey gave his speech about how he would not tolerate traitors in his realm.  “But the show already told me that this is all part of a plan, one where Ned will be saved, and Joffrey already agreed to it,” I thought as Joffrey raised his sword.  And then he cut off Ned’s head.  Whoops.
