5 Things from the Cellar to Make your Finals Week Better

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SCU chapter.

It’s the end of the quarter and the stress of finals week is just overwhelming you. What’s the best way to minimize this all this stress? Eat it away. Go to the Cellar and spend your excess meal points on something delicious! You deserve it. Here are five things you should get from the Cellar to make your finals week a little better:

1.)   Bark Thins: The perfect snacking chocolate!  I just love how all the pieces are different sizes and the crunch is perfect. If you’re into dark chocolate, this is a must buy. Even if you’re not, I would still encourage you to try it. The bitter taste of the chocolate is balanced out by the sweetness of some of the flavors.

2.)   Rip Van Wafels: I was a bit hesitant when I first tasted these, but my doubt melted away after I took my first bite. These are sugary goodness with the perfect balance of chewy and crunchy. And apparently they’re healthy too so that’s a plus.

3.)   Mochi Ice Cream: If you haven’t tasted this yet, drop all your books and go to the Cellar. Now. You won’t regret it. For those of you unfamiliar with what it is, it’s basically Mochi (a chewy Japanese rice based dessert) filled with ice cream. My favorite flavors are Green Tea and Mango, but all of them are delicious.

4.)   Theo Dark Chocolate: Arguably the best dark chocolate bars I have ever tasted. There are tons of flavors to choose from and it’s also 100% organic and non-GMO so you can eat guilt free.

5.)   Ben & Jerry’s: Yes, ice cream again. And this one’s a classic that the Cellar is usually stocked up on, so you definitely can’t go wrong with it. My favorite flavor is the S’mores one.

Good luck on finals, Broncos! And remember, there is rarely pain that can’t be eaten away.
