We all do it. We’re doing our homework and somehow we end up online shopping for things that we think we need.  We have access to millions of clothes without having to leave the comfort of our bed. Online shopping is both a blessing and a curse because it makes it so easy to spend all of our hard-earned cash.  Here are some common thoughts that run through our minds while online shopping:

1. I really need new clothes. Maybe I should go to the mall.

2. Eh, then I would have to wear pants.

3. I’ll just look online.

4. Where can I find the cutest outfits for the least amount of money?

5. I probably won’t buy anything but it won’t hurt to look.

6. What do I want?

7. Actually, no. What do I need?

8. The most important part: the “sort low-to-high price” option.

9. I need more tank tops.

10. Found one! Am I a medium or a small?

11. I should check the sizing chart.

12. Never mind, I’m not going to measure every part of my body.

13. The model is wearing a small and she’s a twig so I’ll buy the medium.

14. OUT OF STOCK?! Fine. I’ll just find something better.

15. This black tank top is really cute.

16. I have a million other black shirts, though.

17. You can never have too many black or navy shirts, right? Black is slimming and classy so, it is worth it.

18. Wait, what kind of bra can I wear with that?

19. I’ll figure it out later.

20. Add to cart

21. Alright, I think I’m done.

22. UGH. I don’t want to spend $8 on shipping.

23. Hmm, there’s free shipping on orders $50 and over. Searches to find something else to buy.

24. I should get a cardigan to wear over the tank top. You can never have too many cardigans.

25. Do I like this sweater?

26. I’ll just put it in my cart just to be sure.

27. Add to cart

28. It’s on sale so it would be dumb not to buy it.

29. Oh! That’s a cute dress!

30. When will I ever wear it?

31. It’s always good to have a dress just in case I have an event to go attend.

32. Is anyone in my family getting married soon? Nope. Oh well.

33. Add to cart

34. Okay, I think it’s time to check out now.

35. I should send a screenshot of my cart to my group chat. They’ll assure me my clothes are cute.

36. Wow, I should not be spending this much money. If I don’t spend money on food or coffee this week then it will all balance out.

37. Maybe I could find a coupon online.

38. Fifteen minutes of unsuccessful coupon searching

39. I should become a doctor or something so I can afford these things.

40. Future husband, I hope you are a doctor.

41. These clothes are equivalent to working an 8-hour barista shift.  Is it worth it?!

42. I worked hard this week – I deserve it! I’m going to buy everything.

43. This stuff better fit.
