Thanksgiving Makes Looking Cute (nearly) Impossible

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

Its finally here. The great American holiday where we ever so gracefully stuff our faces full of the heartiest food possible. While gathered amongst friends and family we confess our thankfulness for all that we have.

If your family is anything like mine though, you have more than one Thanksgiving meal to attend. Grams at 11 leave for Aunt and Uncle “so and so’s” by 1 and be home for your own dinner by 5. In between all the traveling, hugging family, gorging ourselves and trying not to fall asleep after eating our body weight in turkey, there’s one thing we don’t want to worry about: our outfit.

Jeans

-No one wants to be playing with their little cousins worrying whether their crack is hanging out.

– There’s no wiggle room when you inevitably gain a food baby belly.

Dress Pants

Basically, anything with a belt or anything that fits tightly around your stomach is seriously not an option. But here’s a few ideas on what is an option, all of which are completely presentable, yet comfortable.
