Senior Year Musings

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

As a senior, I cannot believe this is my last Homecoming as an undergrad – like where in the world did the last three years go?

As for Homecoming 2014, not only is this my last chance to celebrate Ambrose Homecoming as before I’m officially an alum (eek!), this is my first! I know what you’re probably thinking, “this girl must be super lame…”. I promise I’m not (well, sometimes but that’s a different story)! As a transfer student, I only really ever had the opportunity to celebrate Homecoming Ambrosian style twice. Last year I ended up having a family commitment that weekend and I didn’t know too many people yet so I just wasn’t in the right place to be celebrating “coming home” to Ambrose yet.

Fast foward a year and I’m a bee through and through. I can’t get enough of the bee puns and incorporate them into my life on a daily basis. I have friends who graduated and are coming back to visit – I’ve already seen a few faces and it’s been awesome. I have the best roommates on the planet (sorry to everyone else’s roommates but..) and it’s always a fantastic time when the six of us can all be together.

I can’t wait to spend the weekend celebrating Ambrose spirit with my roommates, my friends, and all my fellow bees. I’ve got to take it all in because it’s senior year and it’s now or it’s never. So bring it on, bees! Let’s do this!
