PSA: You can get Korean skin care at Target

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

There is a huge trend for Korean Skin Care happening in the United States, and Target is fully on board. The great thing about Target is that you don’t need to go to Sephora and get the luxe Korean beauty brands. You can get the drug store ones and they work just as well (if not, better).

There is currently a sale on select products from Whamisa. Ingrid Nilsen, a YouTuber, mentioned how great Whamisa’s Foaming Cleansing Gel was. (Check out her video here.) As someone who absolutely adores Ingrid’s recommendations, and couldn’t resist a good sale, I bought it.

This is the product:

It’s nice, simple packaging. It has green tea and kale antioxidants and definitely removes makeup! The great thing about this cleansing gel is that it is non-abrasive, which means that you won’t feel like your skin is being stripped out of its natural oils.

There is a very faint smell to it, but for the most part this cleanser is unscented. I have oily, acne-prone skin, but I use a product, prescribed by my dermatologist, that causes my skin to constantly flake and be extremely sensitive. Basically, I have oily, acne, dry, and sensitive skin. I allowed some time for my skin to be adjusted to this, and let me tell ya, this stuff works.

You can pick this up at Target for $15.99 (originally $19.99)!
