The first thing that comes to mind when you think of Hope is laughter and when asked if she would want to be this week’s Campus Celebrity that is exactly what she did. Then she preceded to tell everyone that she was famous. So here she is meet softball star Hope Smith, whose laughter can be heard from Locust Street all the way to Lombard.

Campus Involvement: I play softball and I also enjoy partaking in Netflix and chill
Favorite Food: Pizza
Favorite Drink: I heart slushies so much
Favorite Color: Ambrosian Blue, so basically navy blue. Like everything I own is blue.
Favorite TV Show: Without a doubt it would have to be Bob’s Burgers
Favorite Movie: Oh that is such a tough one, probably a mix between The Sandlot, Benchwarmers, and the Hannah Montana Movie
Hobbies: Softball, Netflix, snacking, sleeping, and interning for the Chicago Bandits
Best Friend: The Yik Yaker who was hating on the softball team
Dream Job: I would love to work with a professional baseball team maybe even be the general manager
Favorite Place to Eat: Portillo’s or Village Inn on a Saturday morning
Dream Date: Taking a long walk down the buffet line at a local Chinese or pizza place. Then going to the park and swing on the swings all day.
Perfect Girls Night Out: Ordering Pizza, drinking “Kool Aide”, and watching old scary movies with the squad.
If you could be any celeb who would it be? Jennifer Aniston or Megan Fox, maybe a mix of both of them.
Dream Adventure/Vacation: Have Disney World all to myself and my family so we would not have to wait in lines or deal with annoying people

Something you cannot live Without: Pizza or my stuffed giraffe named Jerry.
Advice for freshman: Do not be afraid to make new friends and talk to new people. Go up to someone you do not know and ask if you can eat lunch with them, you never know, they could turn out to be your best friend. Also, join and do as many things as possible. Four years is a long time, so make the most of it.
